Learning for Life, Growing in Faith, Spreading the Light
The following classes meet most Sundays from 10:10-11:05 a.m. with the exception of the summer. Feel free to try one or all of the classes – they lend themselves to dropping in and out as your schedule allows!
The Seekers Sunday School Class meets in Dining Room A in the Parish and Community Life Center (PCLC).
This class is new for the 2018/19 season. Studies and topics will change every several weeks and will be focused on growth in faith and life application. Look for more details in the Bell Ringer each week to learn about current studies.
Welcome to Sunday! meets in Dining Room B of the Parish and Community Life Center.
This class focuses on the traditions and practices of The Episcopal Church including such topics as: Anglican Spiritual Traditions, Church Music and The Hymnal 1982, Seasons of the Church Year, The Book of Common Prayer, etc. The format is informal and includes both teaching and discussion in a seminar approach. The weekly classes are designed to accommodate drop-ins. It’s a great place to dig deeper into the hows and whys of being an Episcopalian.
Parents in Community is a class for people with children living in the home and meets in Dining Room C of the Parish and Community Life Center. This class explores a variety of topics that have included Parenting, The Soul of a Child, and Money and Emotions. Regular fellowship times are also incorporated in to this class.
The Gleaners Class meets in the Library Conference Room in Satterlee Hall and is also open to adults of all ages. This ever-growing class is facilitated by Roland Doepner and Agnes Martin and examines the weekly Lectionary readings using Art, Music and Drama. Most Sundays you will find something yummy to eat! (Note: During the summer, the class meets from 9 to 10:15 a.m.)
Please monitor our publications, the Parish Paper and the Bell Ringer, for updates about class offerings and schedule changes.
