The Church of the Advent counts nearly 1,600 communicants on its roll and is the third largest church in the Diocese of Upper South Carolina. Located in the heart of Spartanburg's revitalized downtown, our spiritual home is a place of beauty and peace.

 

 

The church proper is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and anchors a campus strategically designed to facilitate our vast and varied ministries. We are a parish that finds strength and solace in traditional worship and music. By the same token, we are a parish vitally interested in and open to new possibilities for spiritual growth and servanthood.
