The teacher/child ratio for the TWOs class is 1:6.  The Episcopal Church policy states that there are to be two staff members at all times regardless of the number of children.  

Children are eligible for enrollment if they are two years old on or before September 1st.  All children must have a completed set of registration forms and a current South Carolina Certificate of Immunization.  Parents must read and sign an acknowledgement form stating understanding of the ACC policies as declared in the ACC Parents' Handbook.  It is the parents' responsibility to keep all information up to date.

The staff of the Advent Children's Center strives to provide a safe, loving, caring, accepting and nurturing environment where children are able to be themselves and grow.  The Episcopal Church of the Advent provides a facility that is up to date, clean, pleasant and safe.

The preschool uses a literature based curriculum to accomplish the stated curriculum goals.  The teachers use selected units to present math skills, science observations, language opportunities, art experiences and group activities.  The children will also participate in chapel, music and physical education classes.
